Guide F1, Italy - Key Highlights
-
Trust
Italy, the home of fast cars, to have one of the
fastest and finest circuits in Monza, 16 km from
Milan. Picnic like setting for the track.
-
Give
yourself one of the biggest treats of your life and
combine the Italian GP with beautiful Milan, a
fashion, style and cultural icon. Lake Como,
adjacent to Milan, is a favorite destination for
celebrities - there were even rumours that Brad
Pitt and Angelina Jolie were getting married at
Clooney's pad in Lake Como. If you like the sea,
the Mediterranean coast is fairly close. South of
France and Monaco are not far away either. Or simply
head to the great city of Rome after the GP.
-
Just
about some of the best pizzerias are in Milan and
Monza
-
Apart
from fashion, culture and style, Milan also offers
superb bars and night clubs. If you are a soccer
fan, Milan's San Siro football stadium is home to
AC Milan and Inter Milan, the legendary football
clubs.
-
Like in
San Marino, the Tifosi (hard core Ferrari fans) make
for a great sight at Monza. They have a campsite
near the track, check out the party there.
-
For
the auto enthusiast, Maranello, the home of Ferrari,
is a short drive away, and about two hours away is
Imola, where the San Marino GP is held.
